Welcome to adam8or arts, my personal brand!
The adam8or arts brand consists of bright, vibrant colors mixed with geometric shapes. This is to demonstrate the versatility of graphic design mixed with illustration which I’m personally known for.
Although the geometric shapes may seem like they are randomly placed at first sight, they are actually used to frame different important parts of the logo. The rectangle highlights my name, and the circle spotlights what the brand is about.
The logo typeface is designed to be flexible and work well with any of the colors of the brand
These are a few sample logos I created when coming up with the branding.
Some of them are clearly stronger than others but I ended up going with the second design on the first row.
The initial idea was to make a logo for both of my initials, but I decided to go with “adam8or arts” over my name and picked a logo accordingly.
The logo uses a slightly modified version of the font, Century Gothic, which is consistent with the rest of the brand. The lowercase letter A has a small addition to it to make it appear like it has a pencil or stylus at the end of it.
Here is a stylized version of the final logo.
The logo has some geometric shapes that have been cleverly added around it. The shapes are the same ones used in the banner but this time they create a frame around the logo that resembles the actual lowercase A from the logo itself.
As I continue to learn and experiment in my graphic design endeavors I came up with this version of the logo.
I don’t think I would ever use it officially but I liked it enough to showcase it here.
It’s a fun way to stylize the logo with a fresh spin on it.
Experimentation is key to staying creative!
